Remedy+ Pelvic Floor Clinic
Doctor-Led Pelvic Floor Treatment in Sydney

At Remedy Pelvic Floor Clinic in Chatswood, we offer advanced, doctor-led treatment for urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and sexual dysfunction in both women and men.

Our clinic combines modern medical technology—including the TGA-approved Emsella® Chair and the Er:YAG medical laser (used internationally for pelvic floor support)—to provide effective, non-surgical options for improving bladder control, pelvic strength, and quality of life.

Every treatment is conducted under medical supervision, in a comfortable and discreet setting. Patients receive individualised care and clear, evidence-based advice on available treatment options.

Why Pelvic Floor Health Matters

The pelvic floor is a vital group of muscles and tissues that support the bladder, uterus or prostate, and bowel. When these muscles weaken or lose coordination, it can lead to urinary leakage, pelvic heaviness, or sexual dysfunction.

These symptoms are common but not a normal part of aging. They often occur after pregnancy, menopause, prostate surgery, or chronic strain, and can be improved or resolved with modern, non-surgical treatment.

Our goal is to restore pelvic floor strength and control using safe, doctor-led, evidence-informed therapies.

Our Treatment Technologies

Emsella® Pelvic Floor Therapy

Emsella chair at Remedy Plus Medical Clinics in Chatswood used for pelvic floor treatment and incontinence therapy.

The Emsella Chair uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) energy to stimulate the pelvic floor muscles, producing thousands of deep contractions during each 30-minute session, equivalent to performing over 11,000 Kegel exercises.

These supramaximal contractions improve muscle strength and endurance, leading to better bladder control, pelvic support, and sexual function for both men and women.

Emsella is TGA-approved in Australia for the treatment of urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction and pelvic floor weakness. Unlike conventional exercises, it can trigger both hypertrophy (muscle fibre thickening) and hyperplasia (formation of new muscle fibres), providing results that go beyond what can be achieved through exercise alone.

All sessions are non-invasive, performed fully clothed, and require no downtime.

Er:YAG Laser Therapy (Off-Label Use)

Fotona Er:YAG medical laser at Remedy Plus Clinic in Chatswood used under medical supervision for pelvic floor and tissue-tightening treatments.

Remedy Plus also offers women this non-surgical, safe and painless treatment using an Er:YAG medical laser, a precision device used internationally to promote gentle tissue tightening and collagen regeneration in the vaginal and pelvic region.

This technology can assist women in improving stress incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse & laxity, and thinning or atrophic tissue, especially when used as part of a doctor-supervised program combining Emsella and medical laser therapy.

While the Er:YAG device itself is registered for medical use in Australia, its application for pelvic floor or vaginal conditions is not TGA-approved and is therefore considered an off-label use.

At Remedy Plus, these non-surgical laser sessions are performed only by trained medical practitioners following a detailed consultation, assessment, and informed consent.

Emsella is suitable for both men and women with urge, mixed or night-time incontinence, faecal incontinence or sexual health concerns. It works by deeply activating the pelvic floor muscles and improving bladder and bowel control. It can be used in women with postpartum issues and in men after a prostatectomy.

Pelvic floor Er:YAG laser treatment is often the most appropriate first step for women with stress incontinence or vaginal prolapse, as it helps firm and support the vaginal tissues. Many women achieve the best improvement when laser is combined with Emsella, which further strengthens the pelvic floor muscles.
